حرم امام رضا (ع) در مشهد ، ایران مجموعه ای است که شامل مقبره امام رضا ، امام هشتم شیعیان دوازده گانه است. این منطقه از نظر مساحت بزرگترین مسجد جهان است. همچنین در این مجتمع مسجد گوهرشاد ، یک موزه ، یک کتابخانه ، چهار حوزه علمیه ، دانشگاه علوم اسلامی رضوی ، یک سالن غذاخوری برای زائران ، تالارهای نمازخانه وسیع و ساختمانهای دیگر موجود است. این مجتمع یکی از مراکز گردشگری در ایران است و براساس برآورد سال 2007 ، 25 میلیون شیعه ایرانی و غیر ایرانی هر سال با بازدید از حرم مطهر ، "قلب ایران " توصیف شده است. این مجتمع توسط بنیاد آستان قدس رضوی اداره می شود. خود حرم به مساحت 267،079 متر مربع مساحت دارد در حالی که هفت حیاط اطراف آن مساحت 331،578 متر مربع را پوشش می دهد - در کل 598657 متر مربع. همه ساله مراسم پاکسازی گرد و غبار در حرم امام رضا (ع) برگزار می شود
The Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad, Iran is a complex which contains the mausoleum of Imam Reza, the eighth Imam of Twelver Shiites. It is the largest mosque in the world by area. Also contained within the complex are the Goharshad Mosque, a museum, a library, four seminaries, the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, a dining hall for pilgrims, vast prayer halls, and other buildings. The complex is one of the tourism centers in Iran and has been described as "the heart of the Shia Iran" with 25 million Iranian and non-Iranian Shias visiting the shrine each year, according to a 2007 estimate. The complex is managed by Astan Quds Razavi Foundation currently headed by a prominent Iranian cleric, Ahmad Marvi. The shrine itself covers an area of 267,079m² while the seven courtyards which surround it cover an area of 331,578m² - totaling 598,657 m².
